Death Certificates

As from 16th November 2009, Registrars are required to check that each Medical Certificate of Cause of Death has been completed by a licensed practitioner.

GPs are therefore asked to print their name next to their signature and give their GMC number.

Fracture Clinic referrals

Referrals to the QMC Fracture Clinic cannot be authorised by junior hospital doctors. Send a fax to the clinic with the patient's contact details, these will be reviewed by a consultant. After authorisation the clinic will contact the patient to arrange an appointment.
